For the 2025/26 season, we want to ensure all our players are gaining a fully holistic development both on and off the ice. With this in mind, we have secured a unique partnership between Leeds Junior Knights and MG1 Elite Performance which provides opportunity for all players to experience elite level mental performance skills coaching at a fraction of the standard cost.

From September, all participating athletes will be given access to the MG1 30-week Mental Performance Program – a weekly development program designed around the MG1 9 pillars of Elite Mental Performance.

Each week, you have a specific lesson to work from, taking around 30-minutes per week. Each lesson, delivered through a combination of video and the physical program training manual, is designed to help you develop the 9 foundations of Mental Performance. Rather than viewing these as 9 isolated skills, think of them as complementary.

Each month, we’ll hold a whole club zoom session to review the completed units and look at the upcoming units prior to working on them.

By the end of the season, you will have a solid understanding for each of these skills to propel your results to the next level and over 90 pages of information, assessments, ideas and solutions to totally dominate the mental side of Ice Hockey.

The cost of the program, with all of the included support would be somewhere in the region of £600 per athlete. As a partner club, we have been given the opportunity to be access the program for between £60 and £100 Per Athlete (FOR THE FULL 8-MONTH PROGRAM!).

In addition, all participating parents will be added to an MG1 WhatsApp group where you can ask Colin any questions at any time about anything mental performance related.

The cost of the program will depend on how many athletes we have signed up:
20 – 29 Athletes = £100 per person.
30 – 39 Athletes = £80 per person.
40+ Athletes = £60 per person.

The first stage is to register your individual interest to ensure we have enough players to take advantage of the lower prices.
